Meet Jillian!

Music Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Jillian recently completed her Master of Music Therapy from Wilfred Laurier University in 2024 after completing her Honours B.Sc degree in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour with a  Music Cognition Specialization from McMaster University in 2020.

She completed her 1000 hour clinical music therapy internships working with residents Spruce Lodge Long Term Care Home, and supporting individuals with mental illnesses at both Thresholds Homes and Supports, and the Homewood Health Center. Jillian is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

She grew up on a farm in rural Ontario and enjoys singing, reading, and painting in her spare time. Jillian is excited to be working with Connections Music Therapy’s clients and is dedicated to creating client-centered experiences that are enjoyable and fun.
