Meet Mira!

Mira Saito (she/her) is a Music Psychotherapist (Qualifying Member). She approaches all sessions in a person-centered, strengths-based manner and strives to work collaboratively to achieve client goals. Mira seeks to learn from her clients and provide them with the opportunity to become empowered. She cares deeply about inclusion, equity and empathy and uses these values to build rapport with clients.

Mira uses a variety of instruments in her clinical work such as voice, piano, guitar and handheld percussion. Prior to practicing music therapy, Mira completed her Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance with a minor in psychology at Western University. She completed her Master's of Music Therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her clinical experience includes work with neurodivergent children and adults and older adults in hospice and long-term care. She has also completed internships in both acute and long-term mental health settings, as well as in a children's hospital.

Mira is passionate about songwriting, both personally and clinically. Outside of work, Mira enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and making music.
