Fall 2026 Community Group Programs

CMT is now accepting registration for two all-new 8 Week Ukulele Groups - Tuning In 101 and Tuning In 102 (Ukuleles Provided)
Tuning In 101
For the beginner who is new to the ukulele or has some limited experience and knowledge. In this group, you’ll learn basic chords, how to read Tablature, simple strumming patterns, and how to play common pop songs.
When: Thursdays
Where: CMT’s Ingersoll Studio: 8 King St. W Ingersoll

Ending: December 5, 2026
Time: 6pm - 7pm

Tuning In 102
For the musician who wants to take their playing to the next level. Learn more advanced chords including barre chords, advanced strumming patterns, and have the opportunity to play with a group in an ensemble, culminating in a winter showcase!

Now accepting registrations for an all-new Community Choir - open to all ages and all abilities!
If you like to sing, be part of something bigger than yourself, and want to connect with like minded folks, this group is for you!
When: Saturdays
Where: CMT’s Ingersoll Studio: 8 King St. W Ingersoll ON
Beginning: October 17, 2026
Ending: December 5, 2026
Time: 4pm - 5pm
Duration: 8 weeks
Registration: $160
This group will finish with a winter showcase (date TBD), as well as in the community for those choir members who are interested. These dates will be in addition to the 8 weeks of rehearsal, at no additional cost.
Support workers are welcome to join the choir for no additional fees.
This group can be submitted for reimbursement through SSAH or Passport funding, where applicable.

CMT is now accepting registration for our Therapeutic Drumming group at our new Ingersoll studio!
Join us for 8 weeks of music & drumming for personal health and well-being - meet some new people, explore some new music, and have fun! Open to all abilities.

Ending: Week of December 7, 2026
Duration: 8 weeks
Cost: $160
Young Ones (ages 4-7): Mondays 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Youth (ages 8 - 20*): Mondays 6pm - 7pm
Adult (ages 21+): Thursdays 2pm - 3pm
Seniors (ages 55+): Thursdays 1pm - 2pm
These groups can be submitted for reimbursement through SSAH or Passport funding, where applicable.

**Depending on number and of participants, group may be split into two age groups: 8-12 and 13-21.
CMT is now accepting registration for an all-new 8 Week Social Skills Group for Young Adults.
Run by Child and Youth Counsellor and parent to a young adult with Autism , Dyan Baldwin is facilitating an 8 week social skills group for young adults with various needs. Come together to enjoy games, crafts, and music while making some new friends!
